closed-lost-revival — Claude Code skill: revive lost deals
Goes back through lost deals in your CRM, records the real reason and a reopen condition, then watches for that condition.
npx skills add cognyai/claude-code-marketing-skills --skill closed-lost-revival -a claude-codeWhat closed-lost-revival does
The skill pulls closed-lost deals from HubSpot, Pipedrive or Upsales along with their calls, meetings and notes. A vague “not interested” gets replaced by the actual reason and a condition under which the account is worth approaching again: a feature shipped, a contract renewal date coming up, a champion changing jobs, the account visiting your site once more.
It runs through Cogny's MCP gateway, so a Cogny subscription and a connected CRM are required. Salesforce and other systems go through the CRM layer in /marketing-engineer. Fibbler is optional and adds ad-engagement signals. With no CRM connected the run stops; Stripe on its own only yields a partial list of canceled subscriptions, with no conversations to revisit and no draft notes.
Commands: build assembles the ledger from deals closed in the last 18 months, watch checks every open reopen condition weekly, shipped "SSO" finds everyone who asked for a given feature, match BK014 lines up lost prospects against a campaign offer. A single run covers up to 50 deals, newest and largest first. Amounts in different currencies are never summed.
What it helps with
- replace “not interested” with the real reason
- find everyone who asked for a shipped feature
- reach out before a contract renewal date
- match lost prospects to a campaign offer
- draft a note that quotes the earlier call
