What check-compiler-errors does

The skill follows three steps: it runs your project's compile and type-check commands, collects errors and groups them by file and category, then attempts to fix the most obvious problems and reruns the checks.

Output shows the current compile and type-check status, a full error summary mapped to files, and which issues were fixed versus which remain. The skill keeps going until checks pass or hits a blocker that needs manual attention.

What it helps with

  • find all type errors across a project in one pass
  • identify which files have compilation failures
  • automatically fix common type-checking issues
  • track progress while resolving multiple errors

Example prompts for the agent

  • Run type checks and show me all errors grouped by file
  • Compile the project and fix errors you can resolve automatically
  • Run check-compiler-errors and focus on the critical issues
