token-pacman — GitHub Copilot plugin: what it does, how to install
Renders live session AI-credit usage as an interactive Pac-Man board. Useful when you need a visible warning before hitting your session limit.
copilot plugin install token-pacman@awesome-copilotWhat token-pacman does
The plugin maps AI-credit consumption onto an interactive arcade canvas. As your session generates responses, Pac-Man clears pellets across the board while ghosts appear. Fruit milestones mark intermediate usage levels until the session reaches its limit and triggers a game-over screen.
Everything runs against the active session. The plugin does not alter Copilot prompt handling or reduce your actual token consumption. It purely handles feedback through visual tracking.
Install it if you want an immediate reminder of how quickly your current session burns quota. If you operate strictly in headless terminal environments without canvas support, skip it.
What it helps with
- Track live AI-credit consumption inside the active session
- Spot approaching quota limits before hitting a hard stop
- Display session milestones through an interactive arcade canvas
Example prompts for the agent
- Show my session AI credit usage on the Pac-Man board
- Open token-pacman to track my current quota
