Verdix address risk — Claude Code MCP server: risk checks
This MCP server checks EVM addresses on Base before funds move or a contract is approved, returning a risk verdict and reasons.
claude mcp add --env VERDIX_PRIVATE_KEY=<VERDIX_PRIVATE_KEY> --env VERDIX_MAX_PRICE_USD=<VERDIX_MAX_PRICE_USD> --transport stdio verdix-address-risk -- npx -y verdix-mcpWhat Verdix address risk does
Verdix address risk gives an AI agent a pre-transfer check for EVM addresses on Base. The server returns safe, caution, or danger with the reasons behind the result. Its checks cover sanctions, scam and phishing lists, address-poisoning lookalikes, contract age and provenance, and burn addresses.
The server exposes quick, standard, deep, and lite checks plus get_pricing. Each paid call uses x402 and USDC from your Base wallet. VERDIX_MAX_PRICE_USD sets the per-call ceiling, while the private key remains local. Lite never returns safe, so that verdict requires another tier.
You need Node.js 18 or newer and a separate Base wallet with a small USDC balance. Paid tools cannot sign a payment without VERDIX_PRIVATE_KEY.
What it helps with
- check a Base address before sending USDC
- catch address-poisoning lookalikes
- halt a transfer after a
dangerverdict - screen a contract before approving it
- read the current check prices
Example prompts for the agent
- Check
0x...on Base before sending funds and stop if the result isdanger. - Run the
quickcheck for the recipient address and show the risk reasons. - Call
get_pricing, then check the address with thestandardtier.
