vault-knowledge — Claude Code MCP server: install and use
This MCP server reads an Obsidian knowledge graph to search concepts, retrieve articles, and surface contradictions between notes.

vault-knowledge gives MCP clients read-only access to an Obsidian vault’s knowledge graph. Its tools search for concepts and connections, find active contradictions, and return an article with its frontmatter, body, and resolved wikilinks. Use it to check what your notes say before relying on them in an agent workflow.
The server requires Node 22.5 or later. The first concept search downloads the nomic-embed-text-v1.5 model. Access is limited to files under knowledge/{concepts,connections,qa} and set in the configuration rather than passed in a client request. That boundary matters: a request cannot grant the server access to other vault folders.
