TuringCorp — Claude Code MCP server: compare two options

TuringCorp weighs two concrete choices and returns its pick, how far apart they seem, and a reason. Use it when no objective rule settles the decision.

What TuringCorp does

The decide tool takes a task and two options. Its response names the preferred option, gives a confidence estimate of how distinct the choices seem, and explains the pick. Keep the task neutral and make each option one plan with its own case. The service compares exactly two choices; it does not rank a longer list.

Allow 180–300 seconds for the client timeout. A completed call returns the decision directly. If the connection drops, use get_result rather than submitting again: retries start a fresh, paid call. Keep your own review process for high-stakes or irreversible decisions. TuringCorp does not look up facts or replace checks against a specification or test.

What it helps with

  • choose between two client email drafts
  • compare two separate plans of action
  • get a rationale for a difficult choice
  • retrieve a result after a long call is interrupted

Example prompts for the agent

  • Compare these two migration plans and choose one, with a reason.
  • Pick which of these two email versions to send to the client.
  • Use get_result to retrieve the outcome of my earlier decision.

Questions about TuringCorp

How do I install TuringCorp in Claude Code?

Run claude mcp add --transport http turingcorp https://mcp.turingcorp.net/mcp.

What does TuringCorp do?

It compares two options for a decision without an objective rule, then returns a choice, a confidence estimate, and a reason.

What should I do if a decide call times out?

Call get_result to check the job or retrieve its result. Don’t retry decide, since that starts a new call.
