What Tomba MCP Server does

The server exposes 28 tools to the agent. Domain search returns every address tied to a domain, email finder guesses likely ones from a name plus domain, and there are separate tools for article authors and LinkedIn profile URLs. Verification sits in its own group: a deliverability checker, the format patterns a domain uses, and where an address was spotted on the web.

Enrichment adds a name, job title and social profiles to an email, and industry, headcount and location to a domain. Phone tools search numbers by email, domain or LinkedIn and validate them against carrier data. Domain intelligence covers webmail and disposable checks, similar domains, the site's technology stack, and employee counts by country. Company search works with filters for size, type, revenue and industry, and there is lead, key and request-log management on top. The package also ships 7 resources such as tomba://domain/{domain} and 16 pre-built prompt workflows.

You need TOMBA_API_KEY and TOMBA_SECRET_KEY set as environment variables at install time. Rate limits follow the plan — on Free that is 1 request per second, 2 per minute and 5 per day, so bulk list verification will not get far there. Calls wait up to 120 seconds for a response and retry up to 3 times on 429 and 5xx with delays of 1s, 2s and 4s. Requests that come back empty cost no credits, and repeating the same lookup within 30 days is not billed twice.

What it helps with

  • pull working employee addresses off a company domain
  • get an article author's email for a pitch
  • clean a mailing list of undeliverable addresses
  • attach job title, social profiles and company data to a contact
  • shortlist target companies by size, revenue and industry

Example prompts for the agent

  • Find every email address on stripe.com and tell me which format they use
  • Verify [email protected] and tell me if it's deliverable
  • Enrich [email protected]: name, position, company and industry

Which keys does it need?

TOMBA_API_KEY and TOMBA_SECRET_KEY, passed as environment variables when you add the server. Without them the stdio setup cannot authenticate against the API.
