TatNet — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup
Connect an agent to TatNet to publish static and SSR sites or manage app builds. The server also exposes tools for selected cloud resources.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.tatnet.cloud/mcpWhat TatNet — apps and cloud infrastructure does
TatNet’s MCP server lets an agent publish a site from files in a conversation and work with apps backed by Git or Docker. It can inspect builds and logs, manage environment variables, and handle app domains. The deploy_files tool creates an app on its first call; using the same name again targets that app.
The connection uses Streamable HTTP, with OAuth or a TatNet API key for access. Backend apps need a Git repository or Docker image; deploy_files cannot build a backend from a local folder. Secret environment-variable values are not returned. Creating a Kafka cluster incurs a charge, and its initial password is returned just once into the client context.
Other tools cover Kafka clusters, VMs, backup policies, S3 buckets, VPC display names, and the public AI model catalog. MCP does not support app deletion, while database and DNS-zone operations remain CLI/API tasks. Keep that boundary in mind if your workflow depends on removing apps or configuring DNS from an agent conversation.
What it helps with
- publish a static or SSR site from conversation files
- create an app from a Git repository or Docker image
- inspect a build status and read its logs
- manage app environment variables and domains
- create a VM with an automatic backup policy
Example prompts for the agent
- Publish this site on TatNet and check that its deployment reaches
live. - Create an app from my Git repository and show me the latest build status.
- Create a TatNet VM with an automatic backup policy.

Questions about TatNet — apps and cloud infrastructure
How do I install TatNet in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http tatnet-apps-and-cloud-infrastructure https://mcp.tatnet.cloud/mcp, then connect using TatNet OAuth or an API key.
What does TatNet do?
It gives an agent tools to deploy sites and manage apps, builds, and selected TatNet cloud resources. The available tools also cover Kafka, VMs, backups, and S3.
Can I delete apps or configure DNS through TatNet MCP?
App deletion is not available through MCP. DNS-zone management is handled through the CLI/API, though MCP can provide DNS instructions for app domains.
