Swarmnest — MCP server for Claude Code: search and setup
Swarmnest connects an AI coding agent to a searchable directory of tools, APIs, MCP servers, and Agent Skills. Use filters to find options by cost, authentication, or platform.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://swarmnest.ai/mcpWhat Swarmnest does
Swarmnest exposes the Swarmnest directory through MCP, letting an agent search for tools and APIs with typo correction, retrieve a full record by slug, and browse directory categories. Search filters cover pricing, authentication requirements, and operating systems, so you can narrow results before choosing an integration.
The server also searches Agent Skills and retrieves their installation guidance, licensing details, and labels for scripts, network access, and credentials. Another tool lists skill packs and bundles sold through Swarmnest Marketplace, including their prices and checkout links. Results provide canonical URLs for directory entries.
Connect through the remote HTTP endpoint https://swarmnest.ai/mcp. The service is read-only and does not require an API key. In Claude Code, add it with claude mcp add --transport http swarmnest https://swarmnest.ai/mcp. Since third-party developers publish the listed skills, inspect their source before installing one.
