App Store Trends MCP gives an MCP host access to app download data for App Store and Play. It can return weekly time series, period growth, and current top charts; Android lookups use a bundle ID. The same service can be connected to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other listed hosts with one API key.
The server uses HTTP. A Python package, app-store-trends-mcp, is also available for direct synchronous or asynchronous calls; it runs on Python 3.8 or later and uses httpx. An API key from trendsmcp.ai is required for requests. The free tier includes 100 requests per month.
