Solidity Compiler IDE — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup
This browser-based Solidity environment lets you write and compile smart contracts, then run them in a JavaScript VM without a wallet.
Open on GitHubWhat Solidity Compiler IDE does
Solidity Compiler IDE is part of Lyra Web3 Playground, a browser-based environment for smart contract development. Write or paste a contract, select “Compile,” then “Deploy” to run it in a JavaScript VM. A wallet is not needed for that step. The compiler supports Solidity versions from 0.6.x through 0.8.24.
For local use, run npm install && npm run dev and open the IDE in a browser. The hosted demo is offline, so local startup is the available route described here. The project description does not provide commands for connecting this MCP server to Claude Code.
What it helps with
- write and compile a Solidity smart contract
- run a contract in a JavaScript VM without a wallet
- test a contract in a browser IDE
- work with Solidity versions from 0.6.x through 0.8.24
Example prompts for the agent
- Open the Solidity environment and help me compile this smart contract.
- Show me how to run the contract in a JavaScript VM without a wallet.
- Help me start Lyra Web3 Playground locally with
npm install && npm run dev.
