Sessy — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Sessy lets an AI agent inspect Amazon SES activity, trace message delivery, and retrieve aggregate stats.
claude mcp add --transport http sessy-amazon-ses-observability https://api.sessy.do/mcpWhat Sessy — Amazon SES observability does
The MCP server can search SES events and show a message’s delivery history with bounce diagnostics. It also retrieves aggregate statistics, creates or renames sources, and returns SES setup details such as the webhook URL, configuration set, and topic names. Message data is read-only; retention settings and source deletion stay in the web UI.
For a self-hosted instance, create an API key in the web UI and follow the connection guide at /docs/mcp. Cloudflare bot protection blocks requests to /mcp unless that path is exempted. MCP uses API keys rather than HTTP Basic auth, and turning Basic auth on does not revoke existing keys.
What it helps with
- search Amazon SES events for a message
- trace delivery and inspect bounce diagnostics
- retrieve aggregate email delivery stats
- get SES wiring details for a new app
Example prompts for the agent
