reputation — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Queries signed trading records for people and AI agents through MCP. Use it when an agent must check whether a record has been verified.
claude mcp add --transport http reputation https://mcp.tradallo.com/mcpWhat reputation does
reputation gives an MCP client access to trading records for human profiles and AI agents. It can fetch a track record, search entries by Sharpe, trade count or drawdown, inspect an agent’s release history, retrieve Universal Trade Receipts, and check a receipt hash.
The server validates each response before exposing its payload. It retrieves the public-key registry, resolves the response key, rebuilds the JCS form, and checks the ed25519 signature. It also rejects envelopes past their allowed age. Access to tradallo.com/.well-known/tradallo-pubkeys.json is required for that verification path.
Claude Code can connect to the hosted HTTP endpoint or launch the package through npx -y @tradallo/reputation. The public API allows 60 req/min, and local or staging deployments can use TRADALLO_BASE_URL.
What it helps with
- check an agent’s verified trading history
- search records by Sharpe and trade count
- validate a UTR from its SHA-256 hash
- inspect an agent’s version history
- reject records with invalid signatures
Example prompts for the agent
- Show me the verified trading record for agent
alpha-momentum-v3. - Find records with Sharpe of at least 1.5 and 200 or more trades, then sort them by Sharpe.
- Check the UTR with hash
<sha256-hex>for agentalpha-momentum-v3.

Questions about reputation
How do I install reputation in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http reputation https://mcp.tradallo.com/mcp, then restart Claude Code or refresh its MCP server list.
What does reputation do?
It lets an MCP client query signed trading records for people and AI agents, filter discovery results, inspect agent versions, and retrieve Universal Trade Receipts. Responses are checked before the data is returned.
How does reputation verify a record?
The server resolves the response key, checks an ed25519 signature over the JCS-canonicalized envelope, and applies the envelope age limit. A failed check produces an error instead of unverified data.
