QuerySail: Google Search Console — Claude Code MCP server
QuerySail lets an AI agent read Google Search Console metrics, compare date ranges, inspect URLs and review sitemap status. It cannot change Search Console data.
claude mcp add --transport http gsc https://mcp.querysail.com/gsc/mcpWhat QuerySail: Google Search Console does
Connect a Google Search Console account through QuerySail, then ask an agent about clicks, impressions, CTR or average position. Results can be grouped by date, query, page, country or device. Period comparisons surface queries and pages with the biggest gains or drops, while URL checks report indexing status and Google's selected canonical.
The server can also show when Google last read a sitemap, its URL count, and any errors or warnings. It is read-only: it cannot submit sitemaps, request indexing or alter Search Console settings. You need a QuerySail account linked to Google Search Console; the client opens a browser for sign-in on first use. Claude Code connects over HTTP.
What it helps with
- compare search traffic across two date ranges
- find pages with the most Google clicks
- break down impressions by query or device
- check URL indexing and Google's chosen canonical
- review sitemap errors and warnings
Example prompts for the agent
- Compare search traffic for this period with the previous one.
- Which pages received the most Google clicks in the last 28 days?
- Check whether the homepage is indexed and report Google's chosen canonical.
