Quackr — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Connects your MCP agent to Quackr to rent temporary phone numbers, check country availability, and fetch incoming verification SMS.
claude mcp add quackr -e QUACKR_API_KEY=<QUACKR_API_KEY> -- npx -y quackr-mcpWhat Quackr does
The Quackr server lets your agent manage temporary phone lines and read incoming one-time passwords directly in conversation. It exposes tools to inspect your USD balance, look up rates for specific countries, check current inventory, and view active numbers.
Integration works over Streamable HTTP at https://mcp.quackr.io/ or via a local stdio bridge with npx -y quackr-mcp. The npm runner requires Node.js 18+.
Calling purchase-number deducts funds immediately from your USD balance. Without an active API key and available funds on quackr.io, purchases will fail.
What it helps with
- retrieve incoming verification SMS and OTP codes
- inspect account balance in USD before purchasing
- check rental rates and inventory across countries
- rent disposable phone numbers for automated workflows
Example prompts for the agent
- Check my Quackr account balance and show prices for US numbers.
- Rent a temporary number and wait for the verification code SMS.
- Show all active phone numbers rented on my account.
