pumpdata — Claude Code MCP server: pump.fun data on demand
Gives your agent access to pump.fun trade history: deployer records, bundles, wallet PnL. Each call is paid in USDC on Solana.
claude mcp add --transport http pumpdata https://pumpdata.fun/mcpWhat pumpdata does
The server connects to https://pumpdata.fun/mcp and exposes four tools. GET /baserate counts how many coins in a market-cap band launched in a window and how many hit 2x, 5x, 10x, 20x within 3 h. POST /wallets takes up to 50 addresses and tells you what they were: winner, bot, supply seller, new. GET /launch/{mint} shows the deployer's record, the bundle at creation and the insiders' share. POST /replay runs up to 500 picks against chain history with fees and fills.
Payment goes through x402: the first call returns 402 with the price and payee, you sign a USDC transfer, then repeat the request with the signature in PAYMENT-SIGNATURE. No key or account is needed, but the wallet must hold USDC — the facilitator covers the network fee, so no SOL is required. The x402 client libraries handle the signing steps for you. An empty window answers 404 and costs nothing.
Yesterday's base rate for every band sits at /public/baserate.json and refreshes hourly, free of charge. Agents can read /llms.txt and /skill.md; the contract is at /openapi.json. The repo's examples include curl.sh, node.mjs with @x402/fetch, python.py, and mcp.md with the same calls as MCP tools. The payer key comes from PUMPDATA_PAYER_KEY; never commit it.
What it helps with
- see how many coins in a market-cap band multiplied within 3 h
- check whether a wallet is a bot or a supply seller
- pull a deployer's record and the bundle at launch
- replay a list of trades against chain history with fees and fills
- get yesterday's base rate without paying
Example prompts for the agent
- Show me the base rate for the 15k-28k band yesterday
- Check wallet
7xKX...— is it a bot or a supply seller? - Pull the deployer record for mint
ABC...and the insiders' share

Questions about pumpdata
How do I install pumpdata in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http pumpdata https://pumpdata.fun/mcp.
What does pumpdata do?
It feeds your agent pump.fun trading data: base rates, wallet profiles, deployer records and trade replays. Paid calls cost between $0.005 and $2 in USDC on Solana.
Do I need an API key?
No. Access works through a signed USDC transfer over x402; the wallet needs USDC, and SOL for the network fee is not required.
