What pendpost does

pendpost gives an MCP client a local workflow for social publishing. The agent can create drafts, run brand checks, schedule content, and place posts in an approval queue. A human decision is required before release, so an unapproved post stays out of the publishing path.

The server runs through npx pendpost and can be started by an MCP client over stdio. A web dashboard provides the planner and approval queue. Node.js 20 or newer is required. Facebook and YouTube can use native scheduling; Instagram, LinkedIn, and X require the server to be running when a post is sent.

What it helps with

  • draft posts for several social platforms
  • check captions against brand rules
  • schedule content for publication
  • route posts through human approval

Example prompts for the agent

  • Create a campaign with draft posts for LinkedIn and X, then place it in the approval queue.
  • Run the brand check on this caption and tell me which issues would block publishing.
  • List scheduled posts and prepare them for human approval.
