Partle — Claude Code MCP server: search products, post listings
Hooks the Partle marketplace into your assistant: find nearby stores and products, pull prices and purchase links, or publish a listing on someone's behalf.
claude mcp add --transport http marketplace https://partle.rubenayla.xyz/mcp/What Partle does
Partle is an MCP server for the Partle marketplace. Your assistant can look up products by name, price range, tags or store, fetch a full record by ID, search stores by name or address, and browse open buy requests on the public /wanted feed. Search also works across languages, so a query in one language can surface listings written in another.
Reading the public catalogue needs no credentials. Writing and private inventory access take OAuth or a pk_… key: OAuth walks the user through a consent screen and attaches the bearer token, while the key suits scripts and agents that cannot do OAuth. Skip auth and create_product, update_product and every inventory call will fail.
Two ways to run it. The remote option is streamable HTTP at https://partle.rubenayla.xyz/mcp/ with nothing to configure. The local stdio package installs with pip install partle-mcp or runs straight from uvx partle-mcp, and a Docker image exists too; it proxies to the public REST API, so no database or local backend is involved. One tool, get_upload_url, only lives on the remote server. The public REST API allows 100 requests per hour per IP.
What it helps with
- find a product in nearby stores by name and price
- pull a product record and its purchase link by ID
- post a for-sale listing for a user
- track personal items across owned, for_sale and sold states
- watch public buy requests and match them to catalogue items
Example prompts for the agent
- Use Partle to find a drill under €50
- Add a listing to Partle for my bike at €200
- Show my Partle products marked for_sale

Questions about Partle
How do I install Partle in Claude Code?
Add the remote server with claude mcp add --transport http partle https://partle.rubenayla.xyz/mcp/. For the local stdio route, install the package with pip install partle-mcp and register a server that runs uvx with the partle-mcp argument.
What does Partle do?
It gives your assistant marketplace tools: product and store search, records by ID, platform stats and public buy requests. Once authenticated, it can also create and edit listings, manage a private inventory and post buy requests.
What do I need before using Partle?
Nothing for public catalogue reads. Writes and private inventory need OAuth or a pk_… API key passed as the api_key parameter on write tools. The public REST API is capped at 100 requests per hour per IP.
