Parlay — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Connects AI assistants to live odds from Polymarket, Kalshi, and Limitless. Gathers market data and sentiment without opening browser tabs.
claude mcp add --transport http parlay https://mcp.parlay.run/mcpWhat Parlay does
Parlay links your assistant to a hosted prediction market aggregator built on PMXT. It runs strictly in read-only mode. You cannot place orders, fund accounts, or manage positions through its endpoints. The server searches active contracts, aligns cross-venue probabilities, and generates topical research briefs.
The service separates real-money exchanges from community sentiment. Information from Polymarket and Kalshi does not blend into Manifold polls during direct probability comparisons. Note that JSON-configured clients like Claude Code or Cursor require a personal access token in request headers. Without it, the endpoint rejects the connection. The free tier covers 15 tool calls per month.
What it helps with
- compare event probabilities side-by-side between Polymarket and Kalshi
- spot price discrepancies across different prediction exchanges
- generate a synthesized brief on current event odds
- track trending contracts with high trading volume
Example prompts for the agent
- Search for active prediction contracts about interest rate cuts and compare their odds
- Run market_brief on the upcoming elections to summarize real-money probabilities and sentiment
- Use scan_discrepancies to check for spread differences between Kalshi and Polymarket

Questions about Parlay
How do I install Parlay in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http parlay https://mcp.parlay.run/mcp. Then configure your PARLAY_TOKEN in the client headers to authorize requests.
What does Parlay do?
It queries real-time prediction venues like Polymarket and Kalshi directly from your coding assistant. It summarizes event odds, highlights volume trends, and flags cross-venue price gaps.
Can Parlay execute trades?
No, it operates strictly in read-only mode. Trading functions from PMXT are intentionally excluded, so the server never handles private exchange keys or transactions.
