What openFlow does

openFlow exposes Google Flow tools to an agent for image and video generation, character work, music creation, and job checks. It can make images, turn a still into a video, interpolate between frames, extend or upscale a clip, create characters from photos, and fetch generated media.

The server uses an HTTP MCP connection. Claude Code can add it with one command; Cursor and other clients can use an MCP server entry with the service URL. After setup, ask the agent to check openFlow status and connect the Google account. A local script opens Google’s login page, so the password stays in the browser rather than passing through the service.

Jobs run against the connected Google account, including its quota and files. Google has no public API for these models, so generation depends on completing the account connection first.

What it helps with

  • generate an image with Nano Banana
  • turn a still into a Veo video
  • extend or upscale an existing clip
  • create a character from a photo
  • check jobs, models, or available credits

Example prompts for the agent

  • Generate a red fox in snow with openFlow.
  • Turn this image into a Veo video and save both files in ./media.
  • Check openFlow status and list the available models.

Questions about openFlow

How do I install openFlow in Claude Code?

Run claude mcp add --transport http openflow https://openflowmcp.com/mcp. Then connect your Google account through the agent.

What does openFlow do?

It gives an MCP client Google Flow tools for Nano Banana images, Veo videos, characters, music, job status, and media retrieval.

Does openFlow need an API key?

The agent can obtain a key after checking the service status. You still need to connect a Google account; a local script opens Google’s sign-in page for that step.
