What OneUptime does

This MCP server links your development environment to the OneUptime observability platform through its HTTP endpoint at https://oneuptime.com/mcp. It allows the assistant to inspect site and API monitors, view infrastructure health, and review active incidents on a unified timeline.

OneUptime also tracks OpenTelemetry logs, metrics, and traces. Because this integration operates over remote HTTP, your agent requires an outbound network connection to https://oneuptime.com/mcp and a registered OneUptime account.

What it helps with

  • inspect active incidents and alert timelines
  • query status checks for APIs, hosts, and network ports
  • check on-call schedules and responder escalation paths
  • publish maintenance announcements to public status pages

Example prompts for the agent

  • List all active incidents and who is currently on call
  • Check the uptime and health of our monitored API endpoints
  • Post a maintenance notice to the status page
