NeuroDock Translation — Claude Code MCP server: how to install
Breaks down message ambiguity, tone, and subtext while structuring meeting transcripts. Runs locally through deterministic checks with optional host LLM refinement.
claude mcp add neurodock-mcp-translation -- uvx neurodock-mcp-translationWhat NeuroDock Translation does
This MCP server exposes four tools: translate_incoming, check_tone, rewrite_outgoing, and brief_meeting. It bundles zero model SDKs. The core logic relies on deterministic rules and regex patterns. For deeper inspection, the server returns a prompt envelope so the editor can query its own model.
Hallucination defense is built directly into brief_meeting. The engine verifies quoted snippets character for character against the original transcript. If a match fails, it raises VERBATIM_ANCHOR_FAILED instead of passing guessed text. Transcripts over 200k characters must be split beforehand because streaming is not supported.
The offline heuristics only recognize English idioms. If you pass another target language, the server simply forwards it into the prompt template without translating it locally.
What it helps with
- detect ambiguous phrasing in incoming work messages
- inspect emotional tone before sending a reply
- rephrase drafts to improve clarity and tone
- generate meeting summaries tied to verbatim transcript quotes
Example prompts for the agent
- Check this email for passive-aggressive tone using check_tone.
- Summarize the call transcript with brief_meeting.
- Polish my draft reply to the client using rewrite_outgoing.
