What Nano Banana by Ace Data Cloud does

The server exposes four tools. nanobanana_generate_image turns a text prompt into an image, and nanobanana_edit_image changes existing pictures or merges several into one. nanobanana_get_task and nanobanana_get_tasks_batch report the status and result of jobs, singly or in bulk. The listed use cases include putting clothes on people in photos and placing a product into a realistic scene.

There are three ways to connect. Point a client at the hosted URL https://nanobanana.mcp.acedata.cloud/mcp and sign in with OAuth in the browser, use the same URL with an API token in an Authorization: Bearer header, or run uvx mcp-nanobanana-pro locally with ACEDATACLOUD_API_TOKEN set. Don't combine OAuth with a fixed header on one server.

Every request goes through an Ace Data Cloud account and draws on its balance. No account means the browser sign-in fails, so check the price before the first real run. Results arrive asynchronously, and you need the original task ID to look them up.

What it helps with

  • generate an image from a text description without leaving the agent chat
  • merge several images into one with a prompt
  • try clothing on a person from a photo
  • place a product into a realistic scene
  • check the status of several generation jobs at once

Example prompts for the agent

  • Generate a flat-style coffee shop logo on a light background with Nano Banana
  • Use nanobanana_edit_image to swap the background in hero.png for a sunset sky
  • Check the Nano Banana task with the task ID we saved earlier and tell me if the image is ready
