NameWheel — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup
NameWheel picks random winners, splits people into teams, and checks public draw proofs. Connect it to run these tasks from your chat.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.namewheel.org/mcpWhat NameWheel does
The local server provides tools to pick one or more winners, divide names into random teams, and create a wheel link with names loaded. Run it with Node.js 20+ or Docker. Picking winners and making teams happen on your machine, without a network connection.
A certified draw publishes its entries, winner, and a public proof page. You need a free NameWheel API key to run certified draws, freeze a list, or view your own draws. The server still starts without a key, but those three tools need one.
You can also connect to the hosted HTTP server instead of installing it locally. Certified draws require a NameWheel account, and their results are public: the entries and winner appear on the proof page.
