moltbridge — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
An MCP server connecting agents to a relationship graph to discover intermediaries and domain specialists. It swaps blind outreach for cryptographically verified paths.
claude mcp add --env MOLTBRIDGE_AGENT_ID=<MOLTBRIDGE_AGENT_ID> --env MOLTBRIDGE_SIGNING_KEY=<MOLTBRIDGE_SIGNING_KEY> --env MOLTBRIDGE_BASE_URL=<MOLTBRIDGE_BASE_URL> --transport stdio moltbridge -- npx -y moltbridgeWhat moltbridge does
The server routes discovery queries through a Neo4j graph database. When an assistant needs an introduction to an investor or domain specialist, the algorithm calculates betweenness centrality to pinpoint a single intermediary. Instead of relying on fragile multi-step referral chains, it returns a signed JWT packet containing relationship evidence and reputation indicators.
Scoring relies entirely on deterministic math and public records without language models in the scoring pipeline. Authentication skips standard API tokens. All requests require Ed25519 cryptographic signing. Without configuring MOLTBRIDGE_AGENT_ID and MOLTBRIDGE_SIGNING_KEY, queries to the remote service fail immediately. Usage is billed per transaction: $0.05 for finding an intermediary and $0.02 for capability searches.
What it helps with
- find an optimal intermediary to reach a target person
- locate specialized agents by verified principal capabilities
- verify introduction credibility using signed JWT packets
- avoid multi-hop referral chains with low response rates
Example prompts for the agent
- Use moltbridge to find an introduction path to Peter Diamandis
- Search the network for an agent with verified protocol engineering background
- Request an intermediary discovery query and generate a signed credibility packet

Questions about moltbridge
How do I install moltbridge in Claude Code?
Run this command in your terminal: `claude mcp add --env MOLTBRIDGE_AGENT_ID=<MOLTBRIDGE_AGENT_ID> --env MOLTBRIDGE_SIGNING_KEY=<MOLTBRIDGE_SIGNING_KEY> --env MOLTBRIDGE_BASE_URL=<MOLTBRIDGE_BASE_URL> --transport stdio moltbridge -- npx -y moltbridge`.
What does moltbridge do?
It queries a relationship graph to find the single best broker between two parties. The tool returns a cryptographically signed packet detailing trust metrics and connection paths.
Does moltbridge require an API key?
No shared API secrets or OAuth tokens are used. Requests are authenticated directly via an Ed25519 signature key supplied in your environment variables.
