Mobbin — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Searches real UI and UX patterns from mobile and web apps via Mobbin. It pulls interface references directly into your coding assistant.
claude mcp add --transport http mobbin https://api.mobbin.com/mcpWhat Mobbin does
The server connects your MCP client with Mobbin's collection of design patterns and screen layouts. You can inspect existing mobile and web interfaces directly during prompt sessions without leaving your editor. There is no code to download and no manual API token to create, as everything runs remotely at https://api.mobbin.com/mcp.
Communication relies on Streamable HTTP transport. A browser tab opens on initial request so you can authenticate your Mobbin account with OAuth. In Cline, declare "type": "streamableHttp" alongside the URL; missing it forces fallback to legacy SSE and halts the connection.
What it helps with
- find onboarding flow references for a mobile application
- review user profile layout patterns from live web apps
- gather checkout UX design examples without browsing the site
- inspect navigation structures across real-world digital products
Example prompts for the agent
- Find subscription paywall examples for iOS apps via Mobbin
- Show account settings UI patterns from web apps using Mobbin
- Search Mobbin for checkout step designs in mobile ecommerce
