MCP Registry gives clients access to a catalog of MCP servers. You can use it to discover entries; publishing your own server is handled by the mcp-publisher CLI.
In Claude Code, add the server over HTTP using the registry endpoint. Running the registry locally requires Docker, Go, ko, and golangci-lint; make dev-compose starts it with PostgreSQL at localhost:8080. The registry is in preview, so API changes or data resets could affect an integration.
