Lupin — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Rust MCP server for an opportunity ledger and capability directory. It enforces lane-level access boundaries across local data files without running a database.
Open on GitHubWhat Lupin does
Lupin exposes revenue ledger tools through standard input and output using NDJSON JSON-RPC. It runs as a self-contained Rust binary on top of plain filesystem directories. No background database or network listener is involved. Upstream feeds such as phaedrus direct candidate drafts into its scan inbox folder.
The design stays read-focused. Calling opportunity_submit only drops an item into the inbox, leaving validated records untouched. The capability_match tool performs advisory keyword checks rather than binding links autonomously. Without passing --root or setting REVENUE_ROOT, the process defaults to ~/workspace/revenue-alignment-20261019. Setting --lane-scope sfw isolates the caller from every record inside the nsfw lane.
What it helps with
- filter opportunity records by status and assigned lane
- evaluate arbitrary text against capability terms without auto-linking
- submit candidate opportunities into the scanning inbox
- inspect pipeline counts and parsing health metrics
Example prompts for the agent
- Run
pipeline_summaryto check parsing health and lane counts - Inspect candidate text against the registry using
capability_match - Fetch an opportunity record by its identifier with
opportunity_get

Questions about Lupin
How do you configure Lupin in Claude Code?
Download the Linux x64 executable from GitHub releases and register it under mcpServers in your configuration using {"command": "/path/to/lupin", "args": []}.
What does Lupin do?
It acts as an MCP interface for an opportunity ledger and alignment capabilities. The server restricts record visibility between sfw and nsfw lanes while reading plain files on disk.
Can Lupin modify validated records directly?
No, the server operates in a read-mostly mode. Its submission tool only queues candidates into a scan inbox, and matching remains strictly advisory.
