leandrogavidia-vechain-mcp-server — Claude Code MCP server
Connects your AI assistant to the VeChain network. It queries Thor REST API endpoints and manages on-chain wallet signatures.
claude mcp add --transport http leandrogavidia-vechain-mcp-server https://server.smithery.ai/@leandrogavidia/vechain-mcp-server/mcpWhat leandrogavidia-vechain-mcp-server does
This server connects agents to VeChain. It communicates with the Thor REST API across both Mainnet and Testnet setups. Through provided tools, the agent inspects blocks, reads account states, and queries fee suggestions.
The integration also includes Goat SDK tools for wallet management. It can generate mnemonics, calculate unit conversions, approve ERC-20 allowances, and transfer tokens. Signing tasks cover canonical certificates, raw transactions, and EIP-712 typed payloads.
Signing features fail immediately unless AGENT_SECRET_KEY is present in the environment configuration. The server runs either as a local process via stdio or as an HTTP stream hosted on Smithery.
What it helps with
- inspect block details and account states on VeChain
- search official VeChain developer guides from the agent prompt
- generate keypairs and sign EIP-712 structured messages
- manage ERC-20 token allowances and native asset transfers
Example prompts for the agent
- Check the native token balance for address 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 on VeChain
- Search the VeChain documentation for fee delegation details
- Generate a new VeChain wallet with mnemonic keys
