Kyrodata — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Remote MCP server connecting your assistant to Brazilian trade figures, crop metrics, and climate reports. Useful for commodity tracking and trade flow comparisons.
claude mcp add --transport http kyrodata-brazil-trade-crop-commodity-data https://mcp.kyrodata.com/mcpWhat Kyrodata — Brazil Trade, Crop & Commodity Data does
This is a hosted service reached via https://mcp.kyrodata.com/mcp over streamable-http. You do not need to install local binaries. Its read-only tools query ComexStat trade numbers, inspect HS codes, track coffee and soybean shipments, and check supply balances.
Time intervals are matched strictly. The server blocks unequal comparisons, such as checking three months against twelve. Instead, it snaps to the closest matching timeframe and names the source. If available records are insufficient for a conclusion, the server returns a neutral No signal.
Authentication requires a token in the Authorization: Bearer <KEY> header. Sending credentials inside URL parameters is forbidden for security reasons. Commodity forecast tools need an upgraded plan, while the credit check tool runs free.
What it helps with
- Compare Brazilian export volumes across identical time windows
- Pull monthly ComexStat shipment series by HS code
- Retrieve physical crop damage figures from weather reports
- Inspect supply and demand balance sheets for commodities
Example prompts for the agent
- Compare Brazilian coffee shipments between the latest completed quarter and the same period last year.
- List the top export destinations for Brazilian soybeans and show their growth rate.
- Fetch recent climate readings and check my remaining Kyrodata credit balance.
