What CI Treasure Hunt does

CI Treasure Hunt is a directory of Contact Improvisation festivals, intensives, workshops, and jams around the world. It also lists communities and profiles for teachers and venues. Its MCP server lets an agent read from the directory; it does not provide write access.

For Claude Code, add the HTTP server with claude mcp add --transport http ci-treasure-hunt https://citreasurehunt.com/api/mcp. The service also supports Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, Zed, and Gemini CLI. Changes to directory entries cannot be made through this server.

What it helps with

  • find Contact Improvisation events
  • look up CI communities in the directory
  • find teacher and venue profiles
  • check which CI gatherings appear in the directory

Example prompts for the agent

  • Find Contact Improvisation events in the directory.
  • Show me the CI communities listed there.
  • Find Contact Improvisation teacher and venue profiles.
