What InvoiceForge does

InvoiceForge runs as a hosted endpoint without local software dependencies. It provides agents with four tools: generate_invoice, validate_invoice, extract_invoice, and describe_coverage. The server validates compliance, outputs electronic invoices, and parses incoming documents under the EN 16931 and Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 standards. It handles both UBL and CII formats.

Usage is billed per call from prepaid credits. Primary generation and validation calls cost 1 credit ($0.01 at Starter rates), while describe_coverage costs 0.2 credits. Registration includes 100 free credits with no card required. InvoiceForge checks validation rules and outputs XML, but it does not transmit documents anywhere. It is not an accredited electronic invoicing network platform.

What it helps with

  • generate electronic invoices conforming to EN 16931 standards
  • validate Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 structures in UBL and CII formats
  • extract structured line items from XML invoice files
  • inspect rule coverage and supported features with describe_coverage

Example prompts for the agent

  • Validate the document in invoice.xml against Peppol BIS 3.0 rules using validate_invoice
  • Generate an EN 16931 compliant UBL invoice XML from the provided billing parameters
  • Extract the line items and VAT totals from the incoming CII invoice file with extract_invoice
