What infomaniak-mcp-agent does

This server bridges MCP clients with the Swiss cloud provider Infomaniak by pairing the official API with manager proxy routes. It provides 78 tools covering domain management, DNSSEC records, kSuite mailboxes, and storage allocations. Routine maintenance runs in chat without manual dashboard visits.

Safety relies on a two-phase commit mechanism. Destructive actions first produce an execution plan alongside a single-use token valid for 60 seconds. The server requires that token back before applying changes, preventing unintentional edits.

Modifying hosting configurations demands both INFOMANIAK_SASESSION and INFOMANIAK_XSRF_TOKEN cookies in addition to the standard API token. Missing session cookies will block hosting write calls because the public API alone does not handle them.

What it helps with

  • find domains nearing expiration across the account
  • add or modify TXT and DKIM DNS records
  • create kSuite mailboxes with forwarders
  • inspect storage consumption across kDrive instances

Example prompts for the agent

  • Check all domains on my Infomaniak account and list those expiring within 60 days.
  • Create a new mailbox for [email protected] and route incoming mail to my personal address.
  • List my kDrive storage spaces and report how much quota is used.

Questions about infomaniak-mcp-agent

How to install infomaniak-mcp-agent in Claude Code?

Run `claude mcp add infomaniak-mcp-agent -e INFOMANIAK_API_TOKEN=<INFOMANIAK_API_TOKEN> -e INFOMANIAK_SASESSION=<INFOMANIAK_SASESSION> -e INFOMANIAK_XSRF_TOKEN=<INFOMANIAK_XSRF_TOKEN> -- npx -y infomaniak-mcp-agent`. Ensure your API key and session tokens are populated.

What does infomaniak-mcp-agent do?

It provides an MCP interface for Infomaniak services including web hosting, domains, kSuite email, and kDrive. LLMs can inspect infrastructure and apply updates using natural language.

Why does this server require session cookies?

Certain web hosting write actions are not exposed through the public API. Supplying INFOMANIAK_SASESSION and INFOMANIAK_XSRF_TOKEN routes those mutations through manager endpoints.
