indigo-mcp — Claude Code MCP server: Indigo Protocol data
This MCP server hands your coding agent Indigo Protocol data: iAsset prices, CDP and loan analytics, stability pools, staking and governance.
claude mcp add indigo-mcp -- npx -y @indigoprotocol/indigo-mcpWhat indigo-mcp does
The server talks to the Indigo indexer and exposes protocol data to an agent: prices for iUSD, iBTC, iETH, iSOL, iEUR and iJPY, ADA and INDY feeds, a browsable CDP list with filtering and pagination, stability pool state, INDY staking positions, protocol parameters and polls. Write-side tools cover CDP liquidation, redemption, freeze and merge, leveraged CDP opening through ROB positions, Steelswap swaps and Iris liquidity pools.
Setup runs through npx. The interactive npx @indigoprotocol/indigo-mcp setup asks which client you use, prompts for a Blockfrost key and edits the config for you. On Claude a single claude mcp add line is enough. HTTP transport is supported too: the server listens on port 3000, serves POST /mcp and GET /health, and hands each client its own Mcp-Session-Id.
Transaction building needs BLOCKFROST_API_KEY; read-only tools work without one. Grab a key at blockfrost.io. Running several Node versions under nvm? Put the full path to npx and a PATH variable in the config, or the server will not start.
What it helps with
- check iUSD, iBTC and other iAsset prices
- browse CDP loans with filters and pagination
- assess liquidation risk from the collateral ratio
- inspect stability pool state and staking positions
- build a transaction for CDP operations
Example prompts for the agent
- Show current iAsset prices and INDY quotes
- Find the CDP for this address and compute its collateral ratio
- Open a ROB position for a leveraged CDP

Questions about indigo-mcp
How do I install indigo-mcp in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add indigo-mcp -- npx -y @indigoprotocol/indigo-mcp. Add BLOCKFROST_API_KEY to the config if you need write operations.
What does indigo-mcp do?
It gives an agent Indigo Protocol data: iAsset prices, CDP and loan analytics, stability pools, INDY staking, governance parameters and CDP operations.
What does indigo-mcp need to run?
Read-only use needs nothing extra. Transaction building requires a Blockfrost key, and with several Node versions under nvm you must set the full npx path and PATH.
