What GetFacade does

This server connects assistants to the GetFacade.ai platform. It takes a building photo and produces an exterior render based on materials and manufacturer stock valid for that specific country. Alongside visual output, it creates itemized estimates for materials and labor. It also produces PDF albums with technical build-ups and safety regulations for construction crews.

The local package serves as a lightweight bridge to the public API. It does not store or cache project data. Heavy tasks such as rendering or compiling albums execute asynchronously via job identifiers. To prevent duplicate charges during network failures, every paid transaction carries an idempotency header.

Running the tool requires Node.js 20+ alongside a funded agent API key. There are no free trial credits. If your agent balance is empty, any paid action gets rejected on the first attempt.

What it helps with

  • render building exterior concepts directly onto a structure photo
  • calculate line-item material and labor expenses by location
  • compile construction albums containing technical specs and safety rules
  • monitor asynchronous rendering jobs and upscale finished images

Example prompts for the agent

  • Set up a new building using create_building and upload the front facade image.
  • Queue a new exterior design render using start_design for the uploaded photo.
  • Request a detailed price estimate and a PDF album for the completed render.

Questions about GetFacade

How to install GetFacade in Claude Code?

Run claude mcp add mcp -e GETFACADE_API_KEY=<GETFACADE_API_KEY> -- npx -y @getfacade/mcp. Replace <GETFACADE_API_KEY> with the key generated in your account settings.

What does the GetFacade MCP server do?

It gives AI assistants tools to upload property photos, generate localized exterior designs, compute itemized construction estimates, and generate technical PDF documentation.

How does GetFacade handle dropped connections during paid jobs?

The server attaches an Idempotency-Key to every billable request. If a connection drops, retrying the call returns the existing job instead of billing your wallet a second time.
