The server exposes tools for calculating AfA, remaining useful life, and the split between land and building in a property purchase. AfAMax public APIs perform the calculations. Results include annual and monthly depreciation, a comparison with the statutory rate, estimated tax savings, and the depreciation base. Other tools retrieve appraisal prices, list available introductory-call times, and book a slot.
Claude Code can connect to the hosted HTTP server with a single command. No user API key is needed, though AfAMax applies request limits. Running the package through npx requires Node.js 22.12 or newer. Treat the figures as indicative: the appraisal formulas are handled by AfAMax, and multi-unit buildings need whole-building inputs or separate calculations for each unit.
