mcp · coresignal-com — Claude Code MCP server: Coresignal company data
Brings Coresignal records on employees, companies and job postings into your AI assistant. Search in plain language, pull big result sets as files.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.coresignal.com/mcp/v2What mcp does
mcp is the official Model Context Protocol server from Coresignal. It gives an assistant access to employee, company and job-posting records. You describe what you want in ordinary words, and every returned row carries match evidence showing why it was picked. A separate entity_fields tool locates field names by keyword, so the full vocabulary never lands in your context.
Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1. On the first connection your client opens a browser window, you log into the Coresignal dashboard, and the server resolves your team's API key on its own. Nothing goes into a config file. Responses report credits_consumed, and costly calls ask for confirmation before credits are spent.
Large result sets are not dumped into the chat. The server stores the rows and hands back a signed HTTPS link that expires after 1 hour. The free artifact_read tool pages a delivered file back into the conversation, but each page costs LLM tokens and is trimmed to a fixed budget, so downloading and parsing locally is the better route for big sets. You need a Coresignal account with an active subscription and credits; a 7-day trial with 2,000 credits covers a first look. In Claude Desktop, downloads stay blocked unless mcp.coresignal.com is on the domain allowlist.
What it helps with
- find companies by describing what they do
- export employee contacts with verified emails
- collect job postings for a given role
- see why a record matched the query
- pull a large dataset as a file instead of flooding the chat
Example prompts for the agent
- Find logistics companies in Germany and show the match evidence for each
- Export the employees of this company with their emails to a file
- List open data engineer roles posted in the last month
