coolify — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
This MCP server lets Claude Code and other clients deploy, inspect, and operate Coolify infrastructure through 46 tools.
claude mcp add --env COOLIFY_ACCESS_TOKEN=<COOLIFY_ACCESS_TOKEN> --env COOLIFY_BASE_URL=<COOLIFY_BASE_URL> --transport stdio coolify -- npx -y @masonator/coolify-mcpWhat coolify does
coolify connects an MCP client to Coolify for deployments, rollbacks, diagnostics, and resource management. Its tools cover applications, databases, services, projects, environments, logs, environment variables, storage, backups, tags, and Coolify documentation search.
The package includes 46 tools, three workflow slash commands, and two readable resources: coolify://overview and coolify://application/{uuid}. List calls return compact uuid, name, and status summaries, while get_* calls fetch a full resource. Secrets are masked, and destructive actions ask for confirmation when the client supports it.
You need a running Coolify v4 instance and an API token. The server supports Coolify v4.0 through v4.3 and uses COOLIFY_BASE_URL plus COOLIFY_ACCESS_TOKEN for local setup. Without an API token, it cannot access your Coolify instance.
What it helps with
- deploy applications through Coolify
- trace application and server failures
- inspect container logs
- update environment variables and storage
- check Coolify connection settings
Example prompts for the agent
- Run
doctorand check whether the Coolify connection is configured correctly. - Find why this application failed and inspect its latest container logs.
- Deploy the project, but ask for confirmation before any destructive action.
