Contracko — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Contracko gives an AI assistant access to a contract workspace for imports, clause reviews, risk checks, and renewal tracking.
claude mcp add --transport http contracko https://app.contracko.com/mcpWhat Contracko does
Contracko connects Claude Code and the other listed clients to a workspace for business contracts. The assistant can bring in PDF and Word files, read dates, parties, and terms, compare agreements clause by clause, flag liabilities and obligations, and find contracts that need notice or are due to renew.
The package includes the contracko skill for contract workflows plus an MCP connection at https://app.contracko.com/mcp. Read access covers questions and reviews; imports and edits require Add and edit contracts. Adding the skill alone does not connect a workspace. Contract text is sent to the assistant product making the request, so model-training settings must be checked there before using real agreements.
What it helps with
- import PDF and Word contracts into a register
- spot agreements approaching renewal or notice dates
- compare liability and termination terms across contracts
- audit vendor agreements for uncapped liability
- create reminders for contract events
Example prompts for the agent
- Add this contract to Contracko and extract its dates, parties, and terms.
- Compare the Acme and Beta agreements for liability caps, termination, and data-processing clauses.
- Review our vendor contracts for uncapped liability and missing notice periods.
