codexrunledger-mcp — Claude Code MCP server: Codex run receipts
A paid remote MCP server that turns Codex runs into receipts: which files changed, where proof is missing, and a handoff package for the client.
claude mcp add --transport http codexrunledger-mcp https://codexrunledger.clauxel.com/mcpWhat codexrunledger-mcp does
Four tools sit behind the endpoint. create_run_receipt builds the receipt for a run, summarize_scope writes down what the change covers, list_missing_evidence flags spots with nothing to back them up, and export_client_handoff packages the result for delivery. Nothing runs on your machine — the service is hosted.
Transport is Streamable HTTP, so your client has to support remote servers of that kind. Calls need a bearer token issued on the product site; hitting /mcp without one returns a JSON error rather than tool output. The token comes after you pick a plan, so a paid subscription is the first step.
For Claude the whole setup is claude mcp add --transport http codexrunledger-mcp https://codexrunledger.clauxel.com/mcp. The endpoint URL stays the same across clients; only the config syntax changes.
What it helps with
- produce a receipt for a Codex run listing changed files
- show a reviewer which parts of the task lack supporting evidence
- summarize the scope of a change before delivery
- export a handoff package for the client
- keep evidence attached to each change
Example prompts for the agent
- Create a run receipt for the last Codex run and list the changed files
- Check for missing evidence and show me the list
- Export the client handoff for this run

Questions about codexrunledger-mcp
How do I install codexrunledger-mcp in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http codexrunledger-mcp https://codexrunledger.clauxel.com/mcp. You still need a bearer token from the product site, otherwise tool calls fail.
What does codexrunledger-mcp do?
It builds receipts for Codex runs, summarizes scope, finds missing evidence and exports a client handoff. All four functions are tools on the hosted server.
Do I need a paid plan to use it?
Yes, it is a paid hosted MCP. The token is issued after you choose a plan on the product site, and requests without it are not authorized.
