CleanSlice — Claude Code MCP server: NestJS + Nuxt architecture docs
A remote MCP server that serves the CleanSlice architecture documentation for full-stack NestJS and Nuxt apps, so the agent reads the conventions before it writes code.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.cleanslice.org/mcpWhat CleanSlice does
CleanSlice plugs its architecture documentation into an AI coding agent. Point Claude, Cursor, Windsurf or another MCP client at it and the model can look up how CleanSlice apps are put together instead of inventing a structure. The server is remote and speaks HTTP at https://mcp.cleanslice.org/mcp, so there is nothing to run locally.
Four tools are exposed. get-started loads the core rules, list-categories lists the documentation areas, search queries them, and read-doc returns a whole document when the search snippets fall short.
The catch is that an agent will happily skip the server and write from memory. That is why the README ships snippets for CLAUDE.md, a Cursor rule, Windsurf rules and Copilot instructions, each telling the model to call get-started and run searches first. Claude users get one more option: a Stop hook that hands the transcript to a verification subagent, which fails the stop until the main agent can back its work with MCP results. Skip that setup and the server stays connected but idle.
Tool names in your client follow the mcp__<server>__<tool> pattern.
What it helps with
- check a module layout against CleanSlice conventions before generating code
- locate the docs area that covers a given task
- pull a full guide when search snippets are not enough
- make the agent verify conventions instead of guessing
- block a finished answer that cites no documentation
Example prompts for the agent
- Before you write this NestJS endpoint, call
get-startedon cleanslice and follow what it says - Search cleanslice for the layering rules and edge cases that apply to this module
- Run
read-docto get the full page about Nuxt page structure
