What arifOS — Constitutional AI Kernel does

arifOS evaluates proposals against thirteen floors and returns a governed verdict before an action runs. It separates judgment from execution: another component carries out actions, while a human retains veto authority. Agents access the service through MCP tools, with verdicts recorded as receipts.

The project describes a hash-chained VAULT999 audit trail. arifOS does not replace authentication, sandboxing, or legal review. That boundary matters when an agent can take real actions; a verdict alone does not provide those safeguards.

The server can connect to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and the other listed platforms. In Claude Code, add it with claude mcp add --transport http arifos https://mcp.arif-fazil.com/mcp.

What it helps with

  • review an agent proposal before it runs
  • record a governed verdict for later auditing
  • keep a human veto over agent actions
  • separate proposal review from execution

Example prompts for the agent

  • Check this proposal before execution and record the verdict.
  • Review the proposed action under arifOS, then wait for my approval.
  • Save the outcome of this check as an audit receipt.
