Appfigures — Claude Code & Cursor MCP server for app analytics
Wires the Appfigures app catalog and your own analytics into an agent: app lookup, metrics, reviews and store data without leaving the chat.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.appfigures.com/mcpWhat Appfigures does
The server is hosted at https://mcp.appfigures.com/mcp. Nothing to install: point any client that speaks remote MCP at that URL and sign in with your Appfigures account when prompted.
What you get matches the af command line. Search apps by title or publisher, pull a single app record, list what your account tracks, or count tracked apps by data group, storefront and monetization. Explorer is the bigger piece: query the store catalog with filters, read fields per product, and return aggregates for market sizing.
Access to Public Data and credits is shared with the Appfigures API and CLI, so check the request limits and credit costs in their help docs before running large catalog queries. Headless jobs that cannot do a browser sign-in need APPFIGURES_API_KEY; the older local stdio route via af mcp is marked deprecated.
What it helps with
- look up an app by name and read its metadata
- size a catalog segment with aggregate queries
- compare download and revenue estimates across competitors
- pull store data and reviews into an agent conversation
- see which apps your account already tracks
Example prompts for the agent
- Search the Appfigures catalog for
youtubeand show last month's downloads for each result. - Aggregate iOS apps that ship Firebase and earn over $1M in the US.
- List the apps my account tracks and group them by monetization model.
