apogeoapi-mcp connects ApogeoAPI tools to an AI agent. The tools retrieve country, state, and city information, look up places, check currency rates, and locate IPv4 or IPv6 addresses. An agent can, for instance, identify a country from its code or return location details for an IP.
The tools are read-only. Claude Code can launch the server with npx, while the API key is passed through APOGEOAPI_KEY. The server cannot access the API without that key. Country and state data are available on the Free plan; city data, global search, rates, and IP geolocation require Basic+ or trial access.
