Anythink — Claude Code MCP server: backend, data, payments
Anythink's MCP server connects your agent to a headless backend: entities, data, workflows, users, files and payments, all from the terminal.
claude mcp add --transport http anythink https://mcp.anythink.cloud/mcpWhat Anythink all-in-one backend: data, auth, files, workflows, payments, APIs does
Anythink is a headless backend platform, and anythink-mcp is its MCP server. Once connected, the agent handles projects, entities, fields, data, search, workflows, users, files, email, roles, API keys, menus, charts, dashboards, settings, integrations, payments and OAuth. No context switching.
The server speaks HTTP at https://mcp.anythink.cloud/mcp. In Claude it's one line: claude mcp add --transport http anythink https://mcp.anythink.cloud/mcp. Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor and GitHub Copilot each get their own config snippet.
A companion CLI ships alongside. Homebrew installs both binaries to your PATH with brew install anythink-cloud/tap/anythink. There are also macOS and Linux builds, a .NET global tool, and a source build. Credentials live in ~/.anythink/config.json, and anythink projects use switches the active profile.
One catch: signup and login are interactive. They ask for email and password, then walk you through linking a billing account and project on first run.
What it helps with
- spin up a project and attach it to a billing account
- define entities and fields for a new database
- upload files and serve them to users
- wire a workflow from ready-made steps
- hook payments and OAuth into an app
Example prompts for the agent
- List the entities in the current project
- Create an
ordersentity withtotalandstatusfields - Show the workflows and run the latest one
