Alchemy retired its local npm distribution @alchemy/mcp-server, setting its shutdown date for September 30, 2026. The new cloud endpoint handles Streamable HTTP requests natively. You do not need to store an ALCHEMY_API_KEY in environment variables anymore, because authentication happens via browser OAuth using your Alchemy profile.
