AI Video Check — Claude Code MCP server: video checks
Send a video link to AI Video Check and get an estimate of whether AI generated it. Useful for an initial review of a clip.
claude mcp add --transport http ai-video-check https://api.aivideocheck.net/mcpWhat AI Video Check does
The server submits videos for analysis by public URL; its local mode can also process a file from your computer. Results include separate estimates for the image and audio. Treat the score as an estimate, not proof: the service does not catch edits, visual effects, or face replacement applied to footage of real events.
You need an AI Video Check API key. For the remote server, the client supplies it in an authorization header; local mode reads it from AVC_API_KEY. Analysis costs one credit for each started minute of video. Local mode requires Python and sends the video to the service, then removes the file when the check finishes. The file therefore leaves your computer during analysis.
What it helps with
- check a video shared through a public URL
- estimate whether AI generated a clip
- review separate image and audio scores
- retrieve a result from an earlier check
- see remaining API credits
Example prompts for the agent
- Check whether this video link looks AI-generated.
- Assess the video file on my computer for signs of AI generation.
- Show the earlier check result and my remaining credits.
