What agenthost does

The tool operates as an external service reachable via Streamable HTTP at https://agenthost.eu/mcp. Nothing runs locally. Once linked, coding assistants can provision web apps, spin up databases, and link domain names.

Interactive setups handle logins through an in-browser OAuth workflow. Headless environments cannot open a browser, so they require an API key passed inside an HTTP Bearer header. Without that credential, automated CI runs cannot communicate with the hosting target.

What it helps with

  • launch web applications and websites straight from chat
  • provision databases without manual dashboard navigation
  • attach domain names to active hosting projects
  • deploy cloud resources from unattended execution scripts

Example prompts for the agent

  • Deploy this web app to agenthost and assign a domain name.
  • Provision a database instance and display the connection string.
  • Check the runtime status of my services hosted on agenthost.
