₹25,000 UPI Deposit Debited but Never Credited – Stake Closed My CaseI had a very disappointing experience with Stake's UPI deposit system.On 1 September 2026, I made two deposits:- ₹5,000 (UPI Ref: 624428743984)- ₹20,000 (UPI Ref: 624428817320)Both payments were successfully completed from my HDFC Bank account, and the money was transferred to the merchants shown in my UPI transaction history. However, both deposits remained pending on Stake.After waiting 4 days, Stake closed both enquiries and simply said that, after their internal verification, the funds did not reach them. They told me to contact my bank for a refund instead of resolving the issue.From my side, the money was already deducted from my bank account, I have the UPI reference numbers, transaction IDs, and payment confirmations. Yet my Stake balance was never credited, and I was left chasing my bank for ₹25,000.This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Stake's payment system. If a successful UPI payment can be marked as "pending" and then the case is closed without a proper resolution, customers are left carrying all the risk.I hope Stake improves how it handles failed UPI deposits and takes responsibility for investigating transactions more thoroughly.
