Casinia Casino - Player’s account keeps getting reopened without consent.
The player from Spain faced repeated unauthorized reopenings of his casino account despite having requested permanent closure due to gambling issues. He claimed losses after the account was reopened without consent, asked for it to be closed permanently, and sought compensation for the later losses. After several requests, the casino offered €2,500 as a goodwill refund, but it did not provide the full account history or explain how that amount was calculated. We therefore closed the complaint as unresolved for failed self-exclusion because the casino did not supply the evidence needed to verify his deposits and losses. Nevertheless, after initial closure, the casino reconsidered its position and decided to refund the player in full. We were therefore able to classify the complaint as resolved.
